CMH has a variety of clinical and non-clinical roles, including Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Health Care Workers, Maintenance, Hotel Services and Administration.

Casterton Memorial Hospital offers clinical placements for students.

Developed to address the specific learning needs of newly graduated Registered Nurses (RN’s), our program offers a January intake for a total of five graduates over 52 working weeks (8 shifts per fortnight).

Interested candidates must submit direct applications via email to Mary-Anne Betson, Manager of Nursing Services – [email protected].

Documents for application include:

  • Letter of introduction (cover letter)
  • Brief Curriculum Vitae
  • Academic transcripts up to Year 3 Semester 1
  • List of clinical placements and clinical assessments from Years 2 and 3
  • Certified copy of current National Police Check
  • Copy of working visa (if applicable)

The Graduate Nurse Program at CMH includes two 6-month rotations in Acute Care and Aged Care, as well as a clinical placement in Horsham for two weeks in the surgical unit and one week in Emergency Care.
